Richmond is renowned for spectacular dining experiences. During the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, all the restaurants in Steveston Village will be featuring menus of local seafood and produce and for a special winter treat, when the weather allows, grab some authentic fish and chips on the docks at Pajo`s.
West Coast Heritage
All the heritage sites in Richmond will be open during the 2010 Olympic Games and on February 23 and 24, when the Mars Bomber is in Steveston, there will be logging shows and the shops in Steveston Village will be open until 7pm.
Visitors to Richmond during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games looking to stay in the comfort of their RV will soon be able to park their RV in Steveston. The Steveston Rotary Club will be operating a temporary RV park from February 9 to March 2. Located in scenic Steveston, where the Fraser River meets the Pacific Ocean, visitors will be a five-minute walk to the beach.
